At UConn, we believe that enhancing university, local, state, national, and global diversity requires more than just addressing wrongdoing; it also requires educational tools that allow members of our community to recognize systems of oppression and to develop their own agency and capacity to enact changes in those systems. UConn is doing more than trying to improve our five campuses; we are working to provide those we serve with the abilities to change themselves, their communities, and the institutions they engage with.
